Classic Rock Sugar Bird's Nest Dessert

Ingredients

  • · 1 pre-stewed bird's nest
  • · 30g rock sugar
  • · 2 cups water
  • · 2 slices ginger (optional)

Method

  1. 1Dissolve the rock sugar in water over low heat.
  2. 2Add ginger slices and simmer for 5 minutes, then remove.
  3. 3Add the pre-stewed bird's nest and warm through gently for 2 minutes.
  4. 4Serve immediately, warm or chilled.
This classic dessert is the simplest way to enjoy bird's nest, letting its delicate texture shine through a light rock sugar syrup.
